Tradition Is The Enemy Of Awareness.
Not Everything We Inherit Has Value.
You come from a long line of amazing people who've survived not getting eaten by dinosaurs, plagues, a whole host of natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, world wars, the holocaust, revolutions, famines, slavery, etc. They married, had families, loved and lost a million times over and all this survival information is locked into your DNA.
Controlled studies have been done with rodents and bananas. Where sadly the rats in question were hurt whenever they approached bananas, they soon associated a link between the two.
"Something bad will happen to me if I go near bananas".
They then developed an aversion to bananas, avoiding them in the future even when the threat was removed.
The "Bananas = pain" link was then passed onto the offspring of those rats who then also avoided bananas without any prior parental warning or the danger. They instinctively knew something bad may happen to them if they go near bananas.
If you are lucky enough to have come from a bloodline of truly successful people where nothing traumatic ever happened, the chances are you're here for a loved one or you're just kidding yourself, because we've all been though something that has shaped us as human beings. It's Darwin's theory of evolution, survival of the fittest, or in most cases good old-fashioned common sense that got you to where you are today.
All these life lessons have gone into your genetic makeup, shaping you on a subconscious level, guiding you through life and directing you towards your life choices. The people you are drawn to are most likely going to follow the patterns of influential people in your life whilst growing up, or have been through similar events as yourself. The activities and jobs you choose are most likely professions that run throughout your genes. It's all stored in us on a DNA level, in the overall notion that it will keep you safe from harm and from repeating past generational mistakes.
How many times have you heard the phrase "The acorn doesn't fall far from the tree", "He's just like his father", "You look just like your mother"? Most of the time we are lucky and the former phrases are a complement, but what if your ancestors made some pretty poor life choices and weren't the best of role models? Our minds are drawn to the familiar, whether this is beneficial to us or not.
We attach the feeling of safety to things we've experienced, even if they were traumatic at the time we survived them so therefore we can do that again.
Childbirth is the obvious example of this when the outcome has been favourable, but if the outcome was of loss of life to either party this would then get locked in to our built-in survival genes and could effect fertility in the bloodline as a survival strategy in further generations, until this trauma has been released either energetically or by positive reinforcement.
When large amounts of money, the family fortune, homes, or businesses are lost it can generate a trigger and lock into place activating our fight or flight response in generations to come should we experience a similar trauma, which provides some explanation into our irrational fears and phobias surrounding money.
When ancestors have died suddenly from any event, such as poisoning, an accident, murder, being broken hearted over the loss of loved ones, etc, all of this genetic coding in our systems gets stored as survival knowledge and is passed down though generations, designed to keep us from the harsh life lessons they had to endure and making the same major mistakes again.
If you have children you will know this feeling too well. We would do anything to not have to watch them suffer, and the traumatic experiences of our past made our ancestors over-cautious and worried about so many things. Avoiding risks and playing it safe their whole lives was a safe bet when there wasn't proper medical care, or things like insurance companies to protect them from losing everything.
These fears are no longer necessary in most of our modern lives, but sadly a lot of this has been holding us back with out-dated negative concepts. Fear of unseen dangers and scarcity that don't have there place in the modern world are getting in the way of us distinguishing between the voice of fear and our gut instincts, often creating anxiety and the exact opposite it was intended for, reinforcing the cycle as history repeats itself.
The ancestral clearing work of John Newton and Howard Wills is a phenomenally successful practice with often mind blowing instant results for a whole host of symptoms, coupling this with The Emotion Code and releasing inherited trapped emotions, the results can be profound.
